Performance characteristics of HDPE bellows:
1. Safe and reliable ring stiffness. Compared with pure plastic pipe, the reinforced steel strip is easy to make the pipe, especially the large-diameter pipe, have enough safe and reliable ring stiffness;
2. The inner wall is smooth, the flow resistance is 20 ~ 30% lower than that of cement pipe, the inner wall of polyethylene (PE) pipe is smooth, the friction coefficient is small, and the sediment is not easy to gather in the pipe, and the friction resistance is almost unchanged after long-term use;
3. Flexible or leak free (electric fusion welding and butt welding) connection, with good sealing performance and environmental protection performance. The two sealing connection methods can be operated by hand with simple tools without large machinery, which is very simple and fast, so as to achieve reliability and no leakage;
4. Corrosion resistant, with a service life of more than 50 years, and the service life of high-density polyethylene (PE) pipes can be up to 50 years;
5. Light weight, few joints, no need for large equipment, convenient installation and laying, light weight, and no need for large lifting equipment during installation. Good axial flexibility, low requirements for flatness and firmness of trench bottom during laying, and strong ability to withstand abnormal stress caused by improper installation;
6. It can be produced on site, greatly saving transportation costs. The strip can be transported in reels (ordinary cable reels). The pipe winding device is simple and compact, which is convenient for the manufacturer to transport the device near the construction site and wind the production and supply pipes nearby, greatly reducing the transportation cost of users;
7. The pipe has strong resistance to abnormal sudden load, and the resulting stress can be relieved through elastic deformation to avoid leakage or damage at the pipe connection due to excessive stress and deformation;
8. The comprehensive cost is competitive. It integrates the advantages of steel and plastic materials, and the pipe has good comprehensive performance.
